HELP! Where can I find the average height and weight for a two year old female?
I need it for an assignment that I have procrastinated on terribly and I cannot find it anywhere!!! I have found some sort of a chart that I plotted info on my specific case study child but I cannot figure out what it means after I've plotted it!

As a rule of thumb, choose low glycemic foods to make up the majority of your menu. Generally speaking and all other things being equal, consumption of the low GI foods versus eating high GI foods will help succeed in weight management and fat loss programs.
However, this is not an instruction to avoid all high-glycemic foods. You have to use common sense when deciding on what to include and what to exclude from you daily and weekly meal decisions. For instance, oatmeal is technically a high-glycemic food rated at 59. But when you consider the fact that it contains a large serving of soluble fiber, it makes a healthy addition to any breakfast menu. On the other hand, looking solely at the glycemic index, you would decide that a 'chocolate bar' with a 49 in the GI scale would be fine. Looking logically at the nutrition label, you quickly see a food loaded with a lot of 'empty calories' and saturated fat - both will do little in your weight management system.
The term 'empty calories' refers to any food that contains a lot of calories and few nutritional contributions. Considering whether a food is good or not based on a high-GI or low-GI is just one dietary consideration. You should also take into account the nutrients in the foods. Take for example bread. White bread and whole wheat bread appear close on the scale. When you compare the nutritional information, wheat bread contributes nutrients and fiber where white bread contributes very few.
A similar example is brown rice versus white rice or regular pasta versus a whole wheat version. A quick glance at the GI scale would indicate that all make a poor dietary choice but upon closer examination, the whole wheat versions contain healthy fiber, vitamins and minerals where their white counterparts do not. I found it surprising to find potato chips on the lower end of the GI scale. It is hardly a good choice for inclusion on any weight loss program due to their high calorie count and relatively low nutritional contribution. Nuts, berries or a piece of fruit, while higher on the scale, would make a much better dietary choice.
When making up your snack and meal shopping list, just make sure you are considering a balance. Combine high-GI foods in the same meal or snack with a low-GI food or make sure that you include a protein and/or fat when you eat something that is on the higher end of the scale. As stated in the introduction article, proteins and fats metabolize slower and at a lower rate to glucose. These foods have the same effect on carbohydrates when consumed at the same time. Here is an example:
Consuming apple juice would seemingly be a healthy choice. However, with a glycemic index at 41 and no proteins or fat, this will be converted to glucose very quickly upon consumption and will have a quick effect on blood sugar quickly. Instead, opt for an apple. With the fiber contained in the apple itself, this will slow the digestion and conversion rate significantly. Better still...an apple sliced and served with a couple tablespoons of peanut butter. Fiber, fat, protein...almost a perfect snack when it comes to the glycemic index and the effect on blood sugar levels.

Baby Weight Chart Average

Low predicted birthweight or normal? Doctors wrong?
I am currently 24 weeks and at 21 weeks the Dr did an ultrasound and found that the baby's weight was in the 17th percentile. He says the baby has been growing in the same curve so she has not stopped growing or anything, she just seems to be smaller than average. But, my question is before I got pregnant I was charting my ovulation and so im pretty sure when I got pregnant and it coincides with the first date they gave me which was dec 30. Afterward they changed it to dec 26. Could the diff in those days be what is causing her to be smaller? They say she measures a week younger but that she has been that way since the beginning. I know its only 4 days difference but that combined with the fact that me and my husband are small in stature could mean the diff between a healthy baby and soemthing being wrong. I heard if she drops below 10 percentile that this is abnormal. What does that mean exactly? Thanks so much for your help.

Weight Height Ratio Chart

What should my body measurements be?
I am a female between the ages of 21-27
My height is 5'1"
My weight is between 145-150... is weight is my "normal weight" without ecersice but eating healthy.... no sodas, occasuions sweets... three meals a day..... ( no snacks)
i want to know what my inches should be at this weight height ratio?
i would however like to be between 120-135 (according to army charts)
Depends how you carry your weight. If you lose 20lb you can probably expect to lose about 3 inches from your current measurements.

So you found out you are going to have a boy. It's time to get ready and be sure you have everything you need for when your baby comes. You will have the most fun when you buy boy clothes for your baby but you need much more than just that.
When you consider the baby clothes for boys it is important to remember you are shopping for a newborn. A newborn is going to be wrapped up inside of blankets for the first couple of weeks and sleep most of the time. If your baby is born in the summer and you have poor air conditioning then your baby may not be wrapped up so much.
However, the doctors will recommend you wrap the baby. This is because the baby is used to being in a tight space and it needs to feel cozy. Before you check out the baby clothes for boys you need to look at the cozy blankets. The hospital usually has the best receiving blankets because they are bigger.
The boy clothes are a lot of fun to shop for. You will need to get at least 5 one piece outfits. These are like t-shirts that snap at the diaper area. You should get at least 5 t-shirts. The most comfortable of the baby clothing for boys as an infant is the full body outfit with the feet in them. Your baby will most likely kick off any socks and he needs to keep his feet warm. You can never have enough full body outfits and t-shirts for a baby to lounge around in. Pants with elastic around the waste may be uncomfortable for a newborn though. You should keep that in mind when you are shopping for baby clothing for boys.
It is fun to buy a few cool outfits for your newborn baby. Your boy won't spend a lot of time all dressed up. However, you have to buy a couple of baby clothes for boys that are styling. You should be sure to have a hat if you plan on being outdoors. Your baby Shouldn't be in the sun. You might want to avoid shoes altogether because this could hurt your baby's legs if they are too heavy.
When you get ready for your new baby the first thing you will want to do is buy boy clothes. It is fun to shop for baby clothing for boys but don't forget the extras. You should stock up on diapers, pacifiers, sheets, blankets and other items too. Don't stock up on formula though because you don't know which formula your baby's tummy will accept.

You have a big family event coming up and you want to lose 10 pounds in 5 days to fit into a fabulous new dress you've seen, or a smart new suit you've just seen. What you need are the best quick weight loss tips.

Because you are initially losing water, the weight loss happens very quickly and once this initial water loss is complete, then your weight loss slows down and you start losing weight at a slower pace.
So, before you start using the tips I am about to give you, make sure that your health is as it should be. Quick weight loss is great, but you must make sure that there are no medical reasons for the extra weight you are carrying. LIFESTYLE
Your lifestyle choices are key to your success. Think honestly about how you spend your day. Are you stuck in an office every day and in front of the tv every night? Do you drive more than you walk? Aim to eat at least four small meals per day. This will also help your metabolism to continue working throughout the day. If you skip a meal, your metabolism slows down and is not as effective as it could be.
Drink water! Yes your initial weight loss is usually your body letting go of excessive water and so it might seem counter productive to drink more water, but you'd be wrong. If your body doesn't get enough water, it panics, thinking it will become dehydrated and so it holds onto the water it has causing weight gain! Drink enough water to keep your body happy and the pounds will drop dramatically. Aim to drink between a litre and two litres per day.
